Best ways to travel is obviously by airplane don't think i'd like to do it on a donkey:

My personal favourites:


1. Royal Brunei Airlinesthey are extremely resonably priced the cheapest i could find anywhere plus you don't have to pay any extra fees for the carriage of your surfboard.Remember that there is no consumption of alcohol on this airline.



2. Sinagapore Airlinesalso very competively priced and will allow the consumption of alcohol.

When travelling around Bali there are multitudes of taxi's and buses, best of all is to hire either a motorbike or a jeep for those off road excersions and of course to fit the escenstials in like your surfboards. Prices are resonable but be sure to haggle down to a price that you think is more resonable. Remember your INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE since the Balinese bombings of recent years the police are very tight on licenses especially with tourists so be prepared.
